Our in-house design capabilities are our strength—for articles and mold concepts, as well as for development, prototype molds, and series molds. We are experts in thermoplastic 1k and 2k injection molding, as well as silicone LSR injection molding (temperature- and post-processing-free medical silicones).


We can flexibly produce sample inserts for your items in S&B’s own sample models.


For the manufacture of precision tools, we produce all tools and molds using our high-quality milling, eroding, wire cutting, and grinding machines—in air-conditioned conditions, of course. This is the only way to achieve the required manufacturing precision in the μ range.


The use of the latest machining technology for optimized production and maximum tool precision—and, of course, an air-conditioned measuring room and 3D measuring machine for testing individual parts—is essential for ensuring the repeat accuracy of your items in production.


Once the tools have been manufactured, the service personnel will take care of the maintenance and repair of your tools.

Spang & Brands Mold Shop occupies a total area of approximately 1,000 square meters and employs around 35 people.
The size of the tools varies from 1-cavity to 128-cavity tools.


Our Mold Shop department designs and builds pre-series tools, precision tools up to 3.5 tons, 2K tools, and silicone tools.


Our goal is to build the best tools for your needs today and tomorrow. We rely on high-quality materials and workmanship to create the ideal conditions for a durable tool.


The first tool samples are produced in our own S&B technical center in close consultation with the toolmakers and designers.
